The new Rotary year is upon us … Wow 08/09, how time flies. I thought I was just writing a post about school starting … asking about essay contests and such, but that was 7 months ago 🙂
Please take look at some our essays from children all over about the Four-Way Test, these might inspire you to begin a Four-Way Test Essay contest for school children in your community.
Many of us in Rotary have participated in some sort of Four-Way Test contest for school age children, whether it might be an essay contest or a speech contest or any other unique way your organization might promote the ethical test in your community. When we participate in these programs, we help teach our young people the value of the “Golden Rule.” So, when your Vocational Service Director asks you to assist in judging thee contests, please take a few hours to help, so those children can be recognized for their hard work and thinking.
